Music of the moment #3

Hi guys! It's been quite a while since I've written my last Music of the moment post, so I thought it was about time I'd write a new one ^.^ Here are five songs that I've been listening to a lot in the past few weeks. Enjoy!

1. Love Is Endless by MoZella

This is such a cute and happy song! I heard it for the first time when I was watching "Life As We Know It" and I NEEDED to know what it was called. Thank God for Shazam :')

2. Sweet Sweet Melody by Katie Sky

Again, it's just a really cute song. It changes your mood immediately and it makes you want to dance around your room. You might recognize it from Zoella's 1 million subscriber video ^.^

3. Sweet Perfection by NeverShoutNever!

I. Can't. Handle. The amount of cuteness these lyrics contain. But I'm listening to it anyway.

4. Best Song Ever by One Direction

I just had to add this one to my list. The video is hilarious and it's a good song to DANCE ALL NIGHT TO THE BEST SONG EVEEEERRRR. I'm super excited for This Is Us by the way :3

5. Flaws by Bastille

Can Bastille please, PLEASE come to the Netherlands? I want to see them live! I could just as well add their full album "Bad Blood" to my list, because it''s bloody good (see what I did there? Heheh).

That completes my third Music of the moment post! What have you been listening to a lot lately?

Have a nice day ;)

Summer Haul ^.^

Hi guys! I bought quite a lot of stuff this summer, but it was too much to show it all in one post, so I decided to make a haul video. This is the fourth video on my Youtube channel, and I have to say, I'm starting to like filming videos more and more every time I make one. I'm still getting used to the whole "talking-in-front-of-a-camrea-thing" so I'm still a little bit awkward :p I'm sure it will get better when I make more videos.

Have a nice day and enjoy watching ^.^

The Ebelin Makeup Egg

Of course I could not go to Germany without going to the DM! I bought a few things there including this curious object: the Ebelin Make up Egg. You've probably seen the Beauty Blender before, which is basically the same thing. I've never owned a Beauty Blender because I think they're a bit too expensive, so when I found these I just had to buy one. It cost €2,95 so it was worth a try.

But how does it work? Well, it comes in a small round plastic box. The egg itself is quite small, UNTIL you make it moist (ugh moist). It gets about as big as the palm of your hand. Then you need to squeeze it until it feels almost dry. After this step it's ready for applying foundation/concealer. To be honest, I don't really like this thing for applying foundation. I feel like it takes a lot more time to apply my foundation and it doesn't look as good as when I apply it with my Zoeva buffer brush. The foundation looks smudgy and the hairs on my face are more apparent. I do like using it for applying concealer, because it allows you to apply several very thin layers and it looks very natural. The egg is a bit difficult to clean (or I've just been using the wrong shampoo) so you probably need to replace it a lot if you use it on a daily basis.

This is what my face looks like when I apply foundation and concealer with the egg. Right is with and left is without using a flash.

I would recommend buying this egg if you want something to apply your concealer with, but I wouldn't recommend using it for foundation when you already have a good foundation brush. However, I do think the egg has several other purposes, you could even use it as a stress ball! ;)

Have a nice day ;)

A day at Europapark

While on vacation I went to this awesome themepark called "Europapark". I'd never heard of it before so I didn't really expect anything, but it was amazing! It's kind of like Disneyland, but without all the famous characters. In Europapark, you can visit several European countries and every country has it's own attractions. Everything looks great and you actually feel like you're in that country, which is a good thing of course. The only thing that I thought was a bit weird, was that they apparently think Dutch people are pirates :') I've had an incredible day there and I even went on a 73m high rollercoaster, which is pretty adventurous if you ask me. I took a few pictures so you could get an idea of what Europapark is and what you can do there ^.^

Have a nice day!

Summer Favourites: Coconut Body Scrub from The Body Shop

Summer trends come and go, but there's one summer trend that never changes: soft, shiny legs (unless some day hairy gorilla legs get super fashionable). And how do you get these silky smooth legs? Scrub! My skin is very dry and sensitive, so I had quite some trouble with getting them supersoft. One day, when my legs were full of razor bumps and red spots, I decided enough was enough and I was going to invest in a good body scrub. I wandered through The Body Shop, smelling all the amazing scents and looking at all the gorgeous scrubs, when I spotted this one. It's for normal to dry skin and it smells amazing. But does it scrub as good as it smells? Yes, it does. It makes my legs sooo soft and smooth and the skin on my legs looks so much better from how it did a few months ago. I've tried out some other scrubs from Sabon and other brands and they were okay, but this scrub is by far my favourite!

I think this was my last Summer Favourites post this year, because I don't know what I should write about next and I think there have been enough Summer Favourites this year ^.^ If you're looking for a good scrub, I definitely recommend this one (unless you hate the smell of coconuts).

Have a nice day!
